I mean, I know I’m not the only one who did this…I’m not the only one who played Pokemon Red for the first time and thought the Trainer was Ash Ketchum. The thing that is so appealing about Pokemon Ash Gray is that it actually follows the Cartoon series. Obviously, not all hacks are original ideas and sometimes are merely a modded adventure of a familiar place, but, how well everything fits together and whether or not it manages to hold my attention is what matters here. Unlike most of the other hacks that I have done reviews for, Ash Gray is one that I had played before, but, I got lost at some point, put it down, and just now decided to pick it up again.Īnyways…as per usually, this hack is reviewed based on whether or not it has a good concept, whether it has a custom map of some sort, custom sprites, and/or whether or not it uses fakemon (and they work well within the world). So, you can bet that I was a bit skeptical as to what I should expect when it came to this. So, this particular hack was recommended to me by the same person that recommended “Pokemon Advanced Adventure”. So I’m finally able to bring you guys another Pokemon Hack!Īs i play more hacks, more and more people are sending me requests of ones I should do and the list only gets bigger and bigger.
